Join us for a candid conversation with two leading experts on experiential learning innovation.
Experiential learning is no longer considered “extracurricular.” By strategically connecting opportunities and experiences across campus, university leaders can ensure students gain the knowledge and competencies needed for a skills-focused future.
Kate Trimble, Senior Associate Dean and Director, Office of Experiential Learning (OEL), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will share insights into the different types of experiential learning that MIT offers and how the OEL works to create a more integrated ecosystem for MIT students.
Capri LaRocca, Director, Experiential Learning, Minerva Project, and co-author of Redefining Experiential Learning: How Universities Can Deliver an Integrated Curriculum, will share best practices for intentionally integrating experiential learning into and across the undergraduate curriculum. Capri will offer frameworks and strategies to design experiences across academic disciplines and university functions.
The conversation will be moderated by Christine Looser, Senior Director, Solution Design, Minerva Project.
